Decision making guidance changes for October 2007

We updated the Funding Code Decision Making Guidance for the Oct 07 fee schemes and related reforms. See Documents on the main Funding Code page for revision marked copies.

Details of earlier revisions to the guidance may still be relevant to existing cases. These revisions can be found in the Archive.

Guidance on authorities for October 2007

In October 2007 important changes were made to the Funding Code.

The changes removed residential assessments of children from the scope of funding.

These changes have been reflected in revised guidance on authorities which is available in the Documents panel.

Guidance on mental capacity cases

We have now published the Lord Chancellor's authorisation. We have also published and our decision-making guidance on funding cases before the Court of Protection under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
